Started his career in 1999 as a resident music director for a theater company, where he has composed a large collection of original musical plays. He later found a niche in TV, landing his first scoring project, the K-novela, "Endless Love". Film projects followed  for Cinemalaya, and Cinema One such as "Intoy Shokoy ng Kalye Marino", "Mauban: Ang Resiko", and "First Ko Si Third".

He recently won best musical score for the film "Tumandok" in the 20th Cinemalaya. Recent nominations  for best musical score include his work for the 2024 Cinepanalo best film, "Under a Piaya Moon" and the 2021 International Silent Film Festival best film, “DIKIT”.
